Reagan was absolutely Goddamn right about Liberal programs:

So they're going to solve all the problems of human misery through government and government planning. Well, now, if government planning and welfare had the answer -- and they've had almost [80] years of it -- shouldn't we expect government to read the score to us once in a while? Shouldn't they be telling us about the decline each year in the number of people needing help? The reduction in the need for public housing? But the reverse is true. Each year the need grows greater; the program grows greater.

Exactly... It's time to check the score and figure out why so many great American cities are turning into shit-holes. Of course there are a million contributing factors, but no one ever asks the obvious questions: Who the fuck's been in charge of these places? Who's policies have been at work?

1) Detroit: (32.5%) No Republican mayor since 1961.
2) Buffalo: (29.9%) No Republican mayor since 1954.
3) Cincinnati: (27.8%) No Republican mayor since 1984.
4) Cleveland: (27.0%) No Republican mayor since 1989.
5) Miami: (26.9%) No Republican mayor... Ever.
6) St. Louis: (26.8%) No Republican mayor since 1949.
7) El Paso: (26.4%) No Republican mayor... Ever.
8) Milwaukee: (26.2%) No Republican mayor since 1908.
9) Philadelphia: (25.1%) No Republican mayor since 1952.
10) Newark: (24.2%) No Republican mayor since 1907.

Hey Liberals, exactly how long does it take for your big government programs to kick in?... You cock suckers have been running two of those cities for over 100 years (and two more have never had a single Republican mayor). What's the fucking hold up? We're only asking so we can figure out how long it's going to take Obama's Stimulus to "fix the economy."

Now, being as one of Liberalism's defining characteristics is Never taking fucking responsibility for anything... ever; let's play a little game called "Guess who Liberals are going to blame for fucking up the cities they've been running for the last million years." Personally, my money's on "Billionaire CEOs sneaking down from the mountains at night (like the Grinch) and stealing all their shit." [Although Trotsky,  Snowball, Goldstein, and Bush would also be acceptable answers.]

Ronald's 100th birthday took place over the weekend. In celebration, everyone should take a look back at our last adult president. It makes you realize what a difference it makes to have a guy in the White House who's not trying to "fundamentally transform the United States of America." Starting with the greatest speech anyone has ever given:

"This is the issue of this election: Whether we believe in our capacity for self-government or whether we abandon the American revolution and confess that a little intellectual elite in a far-distant capitol can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves."

Goddamnit, people need to hear this more then ever:

Back in 1961, the Government was trying to take over health care. Meanwhile, Reagan was doing what he did best, telling the Government to go fuck itself.

For those of you who have never seen Reagan's "A Time for choosing", grab a beer and prepare yourself. This is what you've been waiting for someone to say when you're yelling at your television, wishing anyone would just make a dominant case for freedom. Here you go. Ronald said it back in '64, but when you're talking about ideas, it could have been yesterday, or two thousand years ago.
