Some people claim taxing the rich is the solution to America's spending problem. Clearly, those people have never heard of "math". Even if you could somehow liquidate and confiscate the entire net worth of every American billionaire (not just their yearly salary, but every single thing they own. Every TV, every cuff-link, every car… everything.) You'd have almost $1,370 billion... but in 2011 the federal government will borrow a projected $1,600 billion. That's over $4 billion per day... they'd blow through Bill Gates' $54 billion in just over 12 days. Sorry liberals, but the rich just don't have enough money, no matter how much you wish they did:
